Home Tips: Environmentally Savvy

Uncategorized Comments Off

The good news is that you have the Power to choose how you impact the environment from your recycling efforts to your treatment of animals. We’ve got a few short suggestions for starting conservation at home – if you don’t consider yourself an environmentalist now you will soon enough!
Focus on Saving Water: Brushing your teeth and showering are great ways to save water in your daily activities. Invest in a rain catcher for your yard, too, if you want to start a garden.
Use Less Electricity: You don’t have to buy a new electric car to cut your bills and your drain on the environment. You can buy solar panels at any local hardware store and simply turning off lights around the house you can actually cut your electricity by more than half.
Stop Sucking the Environment: The biggest thing you can do to curb your drain on the planet is to stop using so much AC and heat. Get some fans and simply learn to live with temps outside of your narrow comfort zone.
